Harmony House
Habitat Seminole & Greater Apopka is excited to announce our Harmony House. The interfaith build was conceived in partnership with Habitat by the Interfaith Council of Central Florida to foster greater harmony and understanding among different faith communities. Though the various congregations have unique and often sharply different faith and theological perspectives, they unite around their commitment to the local community and to the elimination of poverty through the mission of Habitat for Humanity. Faith partner volunteers for the project will provide both physical labor and financial backing they garner through fundraising efforts. Harmony House Congregations/Sponsors include: Congregation of Reform Judaism, First Congregational Church of Winter Park, Islamic Society of Central Florida, Markham Woods Seventh Day Adventists, Northland Church, Ohev Shalom, and The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints.
