Carla and husband Greg have 3 kids and 2 grandchildren. After many years workig in corporate America, Carla now co-owns Look Local Marketing.  She is happy to provide value in our Central Florida community by promoting local businesses and supporting local non-profit organizations with Look Local Magazine.

Carla is proud to donate, fundraise and volunteer for Habitat, resonating with Habitat’s core values of providing affordable home ownership for local families who need “a hand up, not a hand out” while also improving the health of our local economy!

Carla formed the 'Wondrous Women' Habitat Women Build Team in 2014 to provide a way to engage women in the community to promote support and fundraising for Habitat.  Many of the women on the team are local business owners, so a cool side benefit of this team is a different type of business and friendship networking.  There is always room for more women on the team, so if you have been looking for someone to volunteer with, please contact me for more information about joining the 'Wondrous Women'!

Attendee’s walk away from Wendy’s session energized, educated and motivated to take action. Wendy is not what one would expect considering her extensive Human Resources background! Why? Wendy says, “I speak up. I tell it like it is. I challenge the status quo. I understand the reality of a fast-paced business and the lack of resources. I recognize that people are a profit center. High performing employees and strong leadership are vital to keeping a business profitable.”

Wendy has a keen sense for business practices that manage risk while attracting and retaining top talent. She has a master’s in human resources and master’s in health care administration. In 2015, HRO Magazine named her a “HR Superstar Practitioner”.

With experience in companies of different life cycles, industries, size and ownership types, Wendy offers clients honest, open, business-minded consulting with a sense of urgency.
