2020 required each of us to adjust to spending extra time in our homes, making us especially conscious of what we have to be grateful for.

Express your gratitude this holiday season with a donation to support housing for families in our community.

Meet Luis and his daughter Natalie!

Luis is a single father who has worked hard to qualify for the Habitat home buying program and build his own home. In fact he completed his 200 required hours of service faster than any other applicant- ever!!

When Luis dreams of his future home he imagines a space where his 16-year-old daughter can focus on her school work, a driveway where he can make repairs on his car instead of taking it to a mechanic, and a yard where he can plant trees and flowers.

With the help of donations and volunteers we hope to bring Luis and Natalie home for the New Year and make their dreams of homeownership a reality!

Take a tour of Habitat construction sites – through the eyes of the families in our program

The families in the Habitat Homebuyer program share what they imagine when they picture their forever home.

They remind each of us that a home is more than nails and wood. Home is a place to build memories and raise a family.

I am taking the #UnderMyRoof Challenge for @Habitat for Humanity of Seminole County & Greater Apopka because I believe that everyone deserves a place under their roof where they feel safe, secure, and strong. This is the place #UnderMyRoof that makes my house a home. I am grateful for this place in my home because…

I challenge (Tag 5 of my friends) to take the #UnderMyRoof Challenge by copying this status, posting a photo and donating to Habitat Seminole Apopka at habitattgratitude.com in honor of that place in YOUR home!!
