Habitat for Humanity Seminole-Apopka’s CEO, Penny Seater, has been nominated for RedTeam’s 2nd Annual Women in Construction Award. RedTeam is construction management software built to help general contractors with budgeting and schedule efficiency, which our construction team is proud to utilize as it is effective and keeps the necessary information accurate and organized so the team remains on track. The company’s award honoring Women in Construction week recognizes nominees for their efforts in spearheading the involvement of women working in all facets of the construction field.
Each year, nominees are invited to a recognition webinar hosted during Women in Construction Week, which takes place between March 1-7. During the webinar, attendees are recognized for the hard work they do each day, in addition to gaining advice, insights, and strategies into navigating the construction workplace. There will also be discussions covering mentorship, leadership growth, and the support technology has the potential to provide in construction.
Leaders like Penny continue to pave the way for future generations of women, working to break down the barriers that once stood between women and male dominated fields, and today those opportunities are more open to women than ever before. Congratulations to our inspirational CEO for this nomination. We at Habitat are so grateful for everything she does as a leader of women in construction and for our community.
