Over the past several years, housing costs have skyrocketed in Central Florida, in particular Seminole County and Apopka. In May 2023, the median sold home price was $400,000 and the rent on a three-bedroom apartment (the size our families need) is now over $2,000/month. In many areas, individuals are now paying almost $400 more monthly than they were 12 months ago for the same apartment.
We have invested in tackling this affordable housing crisis by making the facts known, developing partnerships, pursuing resources, encouraging philanthropy, working honestly and smartly, building a good product, and educating our Future Homebuyers for success. In addition, we have made available a free financial literacy resource to the ENTIRE community.
