Giving Local to Grow Community: 2025 Annual Giving Drive

Jackie and Isaac home front

As this year comes to a close, we consider the purpose of our local Habitat and the positive impact we have had on neighbors close to us. We reflect on families just like Jackie Pacheco’s, who we have helped to ensure she is able to raise her son in the community she serves and loves. The work of our organization helps to strengthen local communities by ensuring stability, improving financial skills, and increasing generational wealth throughout neighborhoods.

This giving season, we ask you to help us ensure more neighbors are able to purchase a forever home and have a safe, decent place to live by contributing to our 2025 Giving Drive. Habitat CEO Penny Seater explains that by donating locally, you are helping us “to ensure our local community heroes who provide essential services—teachers, healthcare providers, and police officers—live and thrive where they serve.”

The families we serve work hard to grow stability and hope for themselves and for others like them. One of our most recent homebuyers, Carrie, serves as the co-director of a childcare center, and Jackie Pacheco works as the Assistant Manager at First Horizon Bank. The people we serve are vital parts of our local community, and by ensuring more stability in their lives, they can feel grounded, secure, and focused on their daily contribution to neighbors like you. Your support of local organizations like Habitat helps to make their hopes a reality.

The first $25,000 in gifts received will be generously matched dollar-for-dollar by The Guignard Company, our Board of Directors, and an anonymous donor. Our community is so thankful for their support and for the support of our kindhearted neighbors, whom we would not be able to fulfill our purpose without.

As Habitat CEO Penny Seater said, “with your financial support, this give local campaign is going to help us grow many more futures, many more communities and homes just like Jackie’s.”
